This super pendant looks like a barrel which has been cut in half. 
There are ten rectangular pieces of Mother of Pearl interjected with silver bars. The pendant has been framed and backed in silver.  
 
This pendant would look best on a silver chain or our pointed collar, though the black cord will fit through the bail as well.
