What a little treasure this is.  This delightful silver pendant displays a wonderful selection of colours.
 
It is a composite stone made from turquoise and the shells of spiny oysters.  The shells are a byproduct of the seafood trade and come from the spiny oysters, which live in the warm waters of the Gulf of California and from North Carolina to Brazil. The shells and turquoise are compressed together and stabilized with resin to create stones that are unique in colour and pattern, ranging from blues, pinks, oranges, reds, and coppers. 
 
This pendant can be worn on any of our necklaces.
